Program overview

A structured onboarding system for language teachers who want to grow into higher-value classes through performance, reliability, and tenure.

Long-term model

This is not a one-off hiring. It is a long-term tutor partnership model.

System-driven

Tutors unlock more classes based on tenure, teaching quality, and reliability.

Entry focus

Demo workshops and 1-to-1 batches are the starting point.

Advanced access

Group batches, higher-pay batches, international students, and advanced levels.

What we look for

We onboard tutors who can operate independently, follow systems, and deliver consistent class quality.

Minimum requirements

  • 6+ months of teaching experience.
  • Minimum B1 certification (DELF / DELE / Goethe or equivalent).
  • Ability to teach at least up to A2 level (B2 preferred).
  • Comfortable with online teaching tools (Google Meet / Zoom).

Non-negotiables

  • Clear communication.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Willingness to follow Tutormax teaching structure and class format.
  • Openness to feedback and improvement.

Payment structure

Payment is per batch, not a fixed salary. Higher pay unlocks over time.

Rates differ for 1-to-1 classes and group batches.
Group batches are assigned only after a minimum of 2 months and proven class quality.
Higher pay per batch is unlocked over time through consistent performance.
Important note: This is a freelance or part-time role, not a fixed-hours job. Tutors who perform well naturally get more classes and better opportunities over time.
